Rampurhat Government Medical College & Hospital (RPHGMCH) was established in 2018 by the Government of West Bengal under the Department of Health & Family Welfare. Located at 60 Batail, Hospital More, NH-60, Rampurhat, Birbhum, West Bengal – 731224, the institution serves as a premier centre for medical education and tertiary healthcare in the Birbhum district and the broader Rangamati region.

Affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the college offers the MBBS programme with a sanctioned intake of 150 seats per year, along with several paramedical and nursing courses. The attached hospital provides comprehensive secondary and tertiary care services to the people of Birbhum and adjoining districts.

The institution is dedicated to producing competent medical professionals, advancing clinical research, and extending community health services to the underserved populations of the Rangamati region.
